Caddo Sheriff’s Office detectives arrested a Keithville man for sexually assaulting a 13-year-old juvenile, said Sheriff Steve Prator.

Robert Wayne Mathews, 56, was arrested on May 19 on a warrant obtained by Caddo Sheriff’s Youth Services Detective Ray Saunders.

An investigation by Saunders determined that Mathews sexually assault the victim multiple times beginning in December 2022.   

Mathews is charged with one count of Sexual Battery. He is currently booked into the Caddo Correctional Center. No bond has been set.
