Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator said sheriff’s detectives are investigating an early morning shooting that left a man dead. 

The shooting happened at 5 a.m. in the 4300 block of Ridgeway Drive in Shreveport. Neighbors reported hearing gunfire, and when deputies responded, they found one man dead inside a residence.
