Applications from the Caddo Sheriff's Office are now available for citizens of unincorporated areas of Caddo Parish who would like to close their streets for National Night Out block parties.

The applications are available at any of the sheriff's substations. They must be completed and returned to the Sheriff's Office no later than September 28. If approved, a copy of the application will serve as the citizen's permit to block portions of their street.

National Night Out is being celebrated in Caddo Parish on October 6. Residents are encouraged to take a public stand against crime by participating in neighborhood gatherings and crime prevention events.
