Update: CPSO detectives investigate double homicide

The Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office is attempting to locate Michael McKnight, who is a person of interest in a double homicide that occurred in Blanchard on April 18. 

McKnight is believed to be on foot, possibly in the Blanchard Furrh/Back Path area. His 2007 Honda Pilot was found abandoned earlier today on the roadway near Walter B. Jacobs Park.

McKnight is a 26-year-old white male, 5’6, 125 lbs., with shoulder-length dark hair and green eyes. 

Caddo Sheriff Jay Long said two victims - a male and a female - were found deceased early this morning in the 5900 block of Attaway Hill Lane. The victims were discovered by sheriff’s deputies who went to the residence for a welfare check after one victim failed to show up at work.
