Search warrant leads to drugs seized and five arrested

Caddo Sheriff Jay Long announced the arrest of five people on drug charges following an investigation by the Caddo Sheriff’s Narcotics Division.

On June 10, a joint operation by Caddo Narcotics, Probation and Parole, Youth Services, and the Louisiana Department of Children and Family Services resulted in the execution of a search warrant at 1520 Magnolia Ave, Shreveport. During the operation, two children were removed from the home by DCFS, with assistance from Caddo Youth Services. Angela Patrick, 49, Billy Graggs, 53, and Lamarvis Jones, 30, were arrested and charged with multiple drug possession charges. Haydon Patrick, 28, and Laderrick Jett, 37, were arrested by Probation and Parole for parole violations.

Five firearms were seized during the search of the residence, including a fully automatic Glock pistol with high---capacity magazines, a stolen Glock pistol, an FN pistol, an AK---47 with two drum---style magazines, and a semi---automatic shotgun with high---capacity magazines. Additionally, a total of 21 grams of crack cocaine, 32.5 grams of marijuana, 66.2 grams of synthetic marijuana, and five grams of hallucinogenic plants were seized, along with a significant amount of cash.
 
The suspects were arrested on the following charges:
1. Angela Patrick, possession of marijuana and possession of hallucinogenic plant.
2. Billy Graggs, possession of marijuana, possession of a firearm with CDS, and possession of a machine gun.
3. Lamarvis Jones, possession of with intent to distribute (Crack), possession of  (Hydrocodone), possession of a firearm with a CDS, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
