At approximately 2:20 am on June 16, Caddo Sheriff's deputies responded to a major crash at the intersection of North Market Street and McDaniel Drive. They discovered a 2005 Toyota Camry, reported as stolen, overturned at the scene, resulting in multiple injuries and three fatalities. Three seriously injured individuals were taken to Ochsner Medical, with two of them transported by Caddo Fire District No.1. Additionally, a medic unit from North Caddo Medical Center provided aid and transported the third injured individual.

Preliminary investigation indicated that the stolen Camry was speeding south on North Market, veered off the road, struck two curbs, and overturned after hitting a tree, finally coming to rest upside down on McDaniel Drive. Some of the unrestrained occupants were thrown from the vehicle during the crash. A stolen gun was also recovered from the scene.

The Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office and Caddo Parish Coroner are investigating.
