Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division and Special Response Team conducted a narcotic search warrant in the 5600 block of Buncombe Road, Shreveport, LA. They arrested a male for possession with the intent to distribute narcotics, including fentanyl, in Caddo Parish, said Sheriff Henry L. Whitehorn.

Roderick C. Mitchell, 32,  was arrested on July 3 and charged with one count of possession with intent to distribute schedule II (fentanyl), one count of possession of schedule III (buprenorphine), and one count of possession of schedule IV (alprazolam). Additionally, $2,658.00 in U.S. currency was seized.

Mitchell was also found to have outstanding bench warrants in Caddo Parish for theft and motor vehicle theft and two probation violations out of Bossier Parish.
