2024 National Night Out
The Caddo Sheriff's Office will begin accepting applications for National Night Out on August 28 from residents in the unincorporated areas of Caddo Parish who want to close their streets for block parties on October 1st.
Applications for the street blocking permit can be obtained at the sheriff's north and south substations or at the Patrol Office, located at 4910 North Market Street, Shreveport. Completed applications must be returned to the nearest Sheriff's Office substation by September 20. If approved, the permit will allow you to block portions of your street.
National Night Out will be celebrated in Caddo parish on October 1. Residents are encouraged to take a public stand against crime by participating in neighborhood gatherings and crime prevention events.
Sheriff Henry Whitehorn, Sr. stated, It’s a great opportunity to meet your neighbors, show support for law enforcement, and learn what’s happening close to home. Criminals can’t win if we are united in our approach to fight crime.
