Class 57 Graduate from Caddo Sheriff's Academy
On November 8, the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office held graduation ceremonies for Class 57 of the Caddo Sheriff's Regional Training Academy, according to Sheriff Henry Whitehorn, Sr. The ceremony took place at the Re-Entry Building of the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office.
Seven cadets successfully graduated from the academy and are now fully prepared to serve their communities. The graduates are Byron Washington Jr. (Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office), Cheralyn Markosky (Bossier City Police Department), Ladarryl Armstrong (Springhill Police Department), Konnor Einerson, Daniel Puckett, Nicholas Morgan (Camp Minden), and Jeremiah Carroll (Vivian Police Department).
The academy recognized cadets for their outstanding achievements in four specific categories. Officer Carroll received the Firearms Award, Officer Markosky was honored with the Academic Award, and Officer Morgan earned both the Physical Fitness Award and the Leadership Award.
A special moment during the ceremony involved family members pinning badges on the cadets for the first time. Shortly after, Sheriff Whitehorn administered the Oath of Office to the graduates.
