Update: At approximately 3:20 PM, the missing individual was found deceased a couple of miles from the intended landing location. An investigation is currently underway.

The Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office is searching for an Asian male who was last seen skydiving in the Gilliam area. At 1:25 PM, the Sheriff's Office received a report from Gilliam Airport about a missing skydiver. Upon arrival, deputies learned that the skydiver's parachute had failed to deploy. The individual was wearing an orange wingsuit at the time of the incident. The search for the skydiver involves the Caddo Sheriff's Office, Life Air Rescue, North Caddo Medical Center, the Wildlife and Fisheries Department, and the Caddo Fire District.
