The Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office invites children and families to celebrate the holiday season during a special open house filled with festive fun! The Welcome to Sheriff’s Candy Land event will take place on December 1 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Safety Town, located at 8910 Jewella Avenue, Shreveport, LA 71118.

Children can enjoy decorating holiday-themed coloring sheets and writing letters to Santa filled with their Christmas wishes. Every child will receive a goody bag with treats and a schedule of events happening throughout the month at Safety Town.

"We’re opening the doors of Safety Town for families to celebrate the spirit of the holidays together," said Sheriff Henry Whitehorn, Sr. "This event is a wonderful opportunity to create memories and strengthen our community during this special season."
