A man from Shreveport has been arrested for allegedly possessing child pornography, according to Sheriff Henry Whitehorn, Sr.

On Wednesday, April 9, Nicholas Steiner, 36, was taken into custody following an investigation led by Investigator Thomas Lites from the Sheriff’s Cyber Crimes Unit.

During the investigation, Steiner admitted, under his Miranda rights, that he was in possession of and distributing pornography involving a juvenile.

Steiner has been booked into the Caddo Correctional Center on thirteen counts of possessing pornography involving juveniles and two counts of sexual abuse of an animal. The investigation is ongoing.
