The Caddo Parish Special Victims Unit has arrested a man from Shreveport, Louisiana, for engaging in sexual acts with two juveniles, according to Sheriff Henry Whitehorn, Sr.

Dustin Cates, 18, was taken into custody on Wednesday, June 11, by Caddo's Warrant Unit after an investigation by Det. Roosevelt Tadlock and Det. Chris Ardoin of the Special Victims Unit. The investigation revealed that Cates had sexually abused two juveniles over a period of one year.

Cates was transported to the Caddo Correctional Center, where he was booked on one count of first-degree rape, three counts of indecent behavior with juveniles, and one count of nonconsensual disclosure of a private image.
 
The investigation is ongoing.
