Willis Knighton Health, Caddo Sheriff’s Office and Shreveport Police Department to Make Announcement in Support of Anglin/Myers Public Safety Initiative

Monday, Willis Knighton Health President and CEO Jaf Fielder, Caddo Parish Sheriff Henry Whitehorn, and Shreveport Police Chief Wayne Smith will make a public announcement that supports the Anglin/Myers Public Safety Initiative, which aims to end the cycle of senseless gun violence in our community.  One of the goals of the initiative is to support law enforcement and the communities they protect with resources that are proven to reduce crime and random acts of violence.

We see the results of these unfortunate incidents in our emergency departments on a regular basis and believe the state-of-the-art technology provided by the Anglin/Myers Initiative will help in reducing the loss of life,” Fielder said. “Willis Knighton is proud to partner and provide the Caddo Sheriff’s Office and the Shreveport Police Department additional resources in supporting this community focused program.”
