The Caddo Sheriff’s Special Victims Unit has arrested a man from North Shreveport for possessing child pornography, according to Sheriff Henry Whitehorn, Sr.

On June 25th, the Special Victims Unit executed a search warrant at a residence in the 2100 block of Grimmett Drive in Shreveport, LA. The homeowner, 33-year-old Johnathan Collins, was taken into custody after the search warrant was executed. The investigation revealed that Collins was in possession of child pornography and was also involved in the sexual abuse of an animal.

Collins was arrested and subsequently transported to the Caddo Correctional Center, where he was booked on 12 counts of pornography involving juveniles and one count of animal sexual abuse.

The investigation is ongoing.
