Patrol deputies are investigating a single-vehicle crash that resulted in one person's death late last night in north Caddo Parish, according to Sheriff Henry Whitehorn, Sr.

At 11:13 PM on July 19, deputies responded to an accident in the 1500 block of Greenwood-Mooringsport Road. When they arrived, they found a passenger vehicle on its side near the tree line. Sadly, the driver had been ejected from the vehicle. Caddo Fire District 1 arrived on the scene and pronounced the driver deceased.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
