Man was arrested for sending private photos of a victim to their coworkers

The Caddo Sheriff’s Special Victims Unit has arrested a man from Gretna, Louisiana, for sending private photos of his victim to coworkers, according to Sheriff Henry Whitehorn Sr.

On May 29th, Investigator Jared Marshall from the Special Victims Unit launched an investigation after the victim reported that Ennis Gilbert, 45, of 935 12th Street in Gretna, Louisiana, had sent private photos to staff members at their workplace. Further investigation confirmed that Gilbert had committed the crime of non-consensual disclosure of a private image. Detective Marshall obtained an arrest warrant for Gilbert, who was subsequently located and arrested in Gretna, Louisiana, on the aforementioned charge.

Following his arrest, Detective Marshall traveled to the Gretna Police Department, where he conducted an interview with Gilbert. After being read his Miranda rights, Gilbert admitted to the crime.

The investigation is still ongoing.
