The Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office invites teen and young adult drivers to take part in a Distracted and Impaired Driving Course on Monday, August 11, 2025, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Sheriff’s Safety Town, 8910 Jewella Avenue, Shreveport, LA 71118.

This hands-on course is designed to help drivers build safe habits from the start. Participants will understand the dangers of distracted and impaired driving, learn defensive driving strategies, explore the risks of multitasking behind the wheel, and experience the effects of impairment through simulation goggles.This course gives drivers the tools they need to stay safe and alert on the road.
