Sheriff Henry Whitehorn Sr. would like to remind residents that school starts this Wednesday, August 13.

Many people frequently ask, "When should I stop for a school bus?" The diagram below illustrates when it is necessary to stop for a school bus and when it is not. If you are ever unsure, it is always best to err on the side of caution and stop!

The Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office, along with our School Resource Deputies, is excited for the upcoming school year and looks forward to keeping our children safe!
