Protecting Children Starts with Awareness and Spotting the Warning Signs of Sexual Assault

The Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office invites parents, guardians, educators, and community members to attend R.E.D. F.L.A.G.S. 101, a free program designed to help adults recognize the warning signs of child sexual assault and take proactive steps to protect children.

R.E.D. F.L.A.G.S. is a guide to identifying behaviors that may signal abuse:

● Recognize changes in behavior

● Engage in open conversation

● Document unusual events or comments

● Fear of certain people

● Lack of boundaries

● Avoidance of physical contact

● Gifts or secrets from adults

● Sexualized behavior or knowledge beyond age

Join Us On These Dates:

Monday, August 25

10 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Saturday, September 20

1 p.m. – 3 p.m.

Thursday, September 25

10 a.m. – 12 p.m.

All sessions will be held at Sheriff’s Safety Town, located at 8910 Jewella Ave., Shreveport, LA 71118.
