The Caddo Sheriff’s Special Victims Unit has arrested a man from Hosston for injuring his 2-month-old infant, according to Sheriff Henry Whitehorn Sr.

On September 6, 2025, Detective Tadlock, the on-call detective for the Special Victims Unit, investigated a case of an infant who had been brought to LSU/Oschner Medical Center at 1501 Kings Highway, Shreveport, LA. The baby was admitted with serious head and facial injuries, as well as a significant injury to the right leg.

Both parents were questioned during the investigation. Following further inquiries, the father, Nicholas Todd, 24, was arrested and booked at the Caddo Correctional Center on a charge of Second Degree Cruelty to Juveniles.
