National Night Out applications available from CPSO
Don't miss the opportunity to sign your neighborhood up for National Night Out. The Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office is accepting applications for National Night Out until 12 p.m. on September 30. Residents in the unincorporated areas of Caddo Parish who wish to close their streets for block parties on October 7 can apply for a street blockage permit.
Applications for the permit are available at the Caddo Sheriff's north and south substations, as well as at the Patrol Office located at 4910 North Market Street in Shreveport. A copy of the application form can also be printed from our website, Caddosheriff.org. You can find the form under the "How Can I..." section in the Public Information area. Completed applications must be returned to the nearest Sheriff's Office substation by 12 p.m. on September 30. If approved, the permit will allow you to block portions of your street.
National Night Out will be celebrated in Caddo Parish on October 7. Residents are encouraged to take a stand against crime by participating in neighborhood gatherings and crime prevention events.
Sheriff Henry Whitehorn, Sr. stated, "It's a great opportunity to meet your neighbors, show support for law enforcement, and learn about what's happening in your community. Criminals can't win if we are united in our approach to fighting crime. We must adopt a T.E.A.M. (Together Everyone Achieves More) attitude."
