A deputy from the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office has been arrested on multiple charges, as announced by Sheriff Henry Whitehorn Sr. 

An ongoing investigation has revealed that a Caddo Correctional deputy, Danny C. Taylor, 40, was working in a housing unit at the Caddo Correctional Center. During his shift, he instructed an inmate to enter a cell where another inmate was present and to commit battery against him. Surveillance footage confirmed that Taylor witnessed the entire incident but failed to intervene.

As a result of his actions, Taylor was fired and charged with one count of second-degree battery (as a principal) and one count of malfeasance in office. He has since been booked into the Caddo Correctional Facility on the aforementioned charges.
