Class 59 Graduate from Caddo Sheriff's Academy

On November 13, 2025, the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office held a graduation ceremony for Class 59 of the Caddo Sheriff's Regional Training Academy, announced Sheriff Henry Whitehorn, Sr. The ceremony took place at Calvary Baptist Church, located at 9333 Linwood Avenue, Shreveport, LA.

Graduates from eight law enforcement agencies participated in the event. They took the oath of office, received their badges, and participated in a special ceremony in which family and friends assisted them in pinning their badges for the first time. Class participants completed over 516 hours of peace officer training in various areas, including law, patrol activities, traffic services, report writing, investigations, firearms, first aid, and criminal justice.

Congratulations to all the graduates!
The academy honored cadets for their exceptional achievements in four specific categories. Deputy Tommie Miller received the Firearms Award, Deputy Shonteria Clark earned the Physical Fitness Award, Deputy Yaron Hawthorne was honored with the Academic Award, and Deputy Shonteria Clark received the Leadership Award.
