The Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office welcomes families to celebrate the holiday season for the second annual Letters to Santa event on Sunday, December 7 from 2 to 4 p.m. The program is part of this year’s Sheriff’s Whoville holiday activities, inspired by the classic film How the Grinch Stole Christmas. It will take place at Sheriff’s Safety Town, 8910 Jewella Avenue, Shreveport, LA 71118.

Children can write Christmas letters to Santa while enjoying hot chocolate and cookies. The letters will be collected and delivered to the North Pole. Families will also have the opportunity to take photos with Santa.

In keeping with the spirit of giving, the Community Relations and Crime Prevention Unit will select items from Santa’s wish list to help make several children’s holiday wishes come true. Everyone is encouraged to wear their favorite Christmas attire.
