A phone scam is affecting our community. Investigators from the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office have reported that scammers are impersonating deputies. During these calls, they demand money and falsely claim that a warrant has been issued for the individual's arrest due to failure to appear for "Federal Grand Jury Duty."

Please remember that no one from the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office will ever request payment over the phone or ask for payment by mail. Stay vigilant and protect yourself from these scams.

These scammers have already targeted multiple individuals. If you receive a call like this, hang up immediately. Do not make any payments, provide personal information, or share details about gift or money cards. Your safety is important.
