**Caddo Parish Sheriffs Office Partners with Salvation Army for Red Kettle Campaign to Spread Holiday Cheer**
The Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office is excited to announce its participation in the Salvation Army’s annual Red Kettle Campaign, uniting law enforcement and community members to support families in need this holiday season.
On December 12th from 9 AM until 5 PM, deputies and staff from the Sheriff’s Office will volunteer their time to ring the iconic Salvation Army bell at three locations: Kroger at 9484 Ellerbe Road, Brookshire's at 5828 Line Avenue, and Hobby Lobby at 1750 East 70th Street, all in Shreveport, LA. This initiative is part of a nationwide effort to raise funds that provide food, shelter, and essential services to those facing hardship in our community.
“Serving the community goes beyond our daily duties," said Sheriff Henry Whitehorn Sr. "We are honored to partner with the Salvation Army and help make a difference for families during the holidays. Every dollar donated goes directly toward supporting our neighbors in need.”
The Sheriff’s Office invites residents to visit their designated Red Kettle locations, meet members of the law enforcement team, and contribute to a cause that brings hope and assistance to thousands in Caddo Parish.
The Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign is a cherished holiday tradition, and the support of local organizations like the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office ensures its continued impact.
