While many families in Caddo Parish gather to celebrate Christmas Day, the men and women of the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office remain on duty, dedicated to protecting the lives and property of our citizens.

On this holiday, deputies patrol neighborhoods, respond to calls for service, assist motorists, and ensure public safety throughout the parish. Their dedication reflects a strong sense of duty and sacrifice, as many deputies spend this special day away from their own families so that others can enjoy the holiday safely.

"Christmas is a time of peace, family, and reflection," said Sheriff Henry Whitehorn Sr. "Our deputies understand the importance of their role in keeping our community safe, and I am incredibly proud of their professionalism, commitment, and willingness to serve—even on holidays."

The Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office encourages residents to celebrate responsibly, stay aware of their surroundings, and report any suspicious activity. Citizens are also reminded to drive safely, secure their homes, and look out for their neighbors during the holiday season.

The Sheriff's Office extends its gratitude to all first responders, dispatchers, and support staff working today, and wishes everyone in Caddo Parish a safe and Merry Christmas.
