Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office Investigating Missing Person from Rodessa

The Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating a missing person report regarding Johnny Dean Hamilton, a 73-year-old man from Rodessa, Louisiana, as stated by Sheriff Henry Whitehorn Sr.

Mr. Hamilton was last seen on Monday, January 5, 2026, at approximately 12:40 p.m., while driving in the Rodessa area. He was operating a 2001 red Chevrolet Silverado with Louisiana license plate Z136218.

His family is concerned for his safety, as Mr. Hamilton may be experiencing early signs of dementia and has several medical conditions. Multiple residents in the Rodessa area reported that Mr. Hamilton mentioned he planned to travel to Texarkana to scrap metal.

Mr. Hamilton was last seen wearing the same clothing shown in a recent photograph provided by his family, taken shortly before he went missing. A photo of Mr. Hamilton and his vehicle is being released to help the public identify him.

The Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office requests that anyone who may have seen Mr. Hamilton or his vehicle, or who has any information about his whereabouts, contact the authorities immediately.
