The Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office, through its Community Relations and Crime Prevention division, is launching a program called "Stop With the Excuses." This initiative aims to encourage parents and guardians of at-risk youth to take proactive steps to prevent risky behavior before it leads to long-term consequences. The program highlights the crucial role that parents play in shaping their children’s behavior.

Participants will receive practical guidance on how to set firm limits, enforce appropriate consequences, improve communication, and recognize early warning signs. The class also emphasizes the significance of positive parental involvement and consistent expectations as essential tools for keeping youth on a safer path.
