Officials in Caddo Parish convened at the Emergency Operations Center (E.O.C.) in Shreveport this morning to discuss the potential impact of a winter storm later this week on the parish.

Sheriff Henry Whitehorn, Sr., who also serves as Caddo Parish's Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness Director, invited representatives from city, state, and federal government agencies, service organizations, health and public safety offices, and regional hospitals. Attendees received a weather update from the National Weather Service's Shreveport office.

Caddo officials will continue to monitor the situation and collaborate closely with the National Weather Service to keep Caddo Parish residents informed.
