Louisiana D.A.R.E. Officers Association - High School Citizen Scholarship
The Louisiana D.A.R.E. Officers Association is pleased to announce the 2026 High School Citizen Scholarship, a $3,000 award to support deserving Louisiana students in their pursuit of higher education. This scholarship emphasizes the Association's dedication to education, positive life choices, and drug-free living.
Eligibility requirements include:
- Being a high school senior.
- A permanent resident of Louisiana.
- Planning to enroll as a full-time undergraduate student at a Louisiana institution.
- Being eligible for admission to the chosen school.
Please note that immediate family members of Louisiana D.A.R.E. Officers or Drug-Free Schools Coordinators are not eligible. However, families of other local law enforcement personnel and school board employees may apply.
Applications must be submitted by Monday, April 13, 2026, to:

The recipient will be announced by May 15, 2026, and funds will be awarded after proof of enrollment is submitted. If the recipient cannot enroll, an alternate will be chosen.
We encourage all eligible seniors who demonstrate leadership and a commitment to a drug-free lifestyle to apply.
