The Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office, through its Community Relations and Crime Prevention division, is launching the "Stop With the Excuses" program. This initiative aims to encourage parents and guardians of at-risk youth to intervene early, preventing risky behaviors from leading to long-term consequences. The program highlights the critical role parents play in shaping their children's behavior.

Participants will receive practical guidance on topics such as setting firm limits, enforcing consequences, improving communication, and identifying early warning signs. The class also stresses the importance of positive parental involvement and consistent expectations as essential tools for keeping youth on a safer path.
