Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office Arrests Student Following a School Threat
The Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office arrested a student on Monday evening after investigating a reported school-related threat at Calvary Baptist Academy, according to Sheriff Henry Whitehorn Sr.
On February 9, the School Resource Officer, Deputy Owen, assigned to Calvary Baptist Academy at 9333 Linwood Avenue, Shreveport, LA, was notified of a threat made by a student to the school. Detectives from the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office collaborated with Deputy Owen to identify witnesses and investigate the source of the statement.
During the investigation, detectives located and contacted the suspect, Keaton Regan, 18. Investigators interviewed Regan and based on the information obtained during the investigation, Regan was arrested for Terrorizing and transported to the Caddo Correctional Center, where he was booked on the aforementioned charge.
The Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office takes all threats involving schools seriously. Any statements suggesting violence or threats to school safety will be thoroughly investigated to ensure the safety of students, faculty, and staff.
