On February 11, 2026, the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office conducted an underage alcohol sales enforcement operation in various locations throughout Caddo Parish.

During the operation, Cpl. Shonda Musco and Det. Roosevelt Tadlock checked multiple businesses licensed to sell alcoholic beverages to ensure compliance with Louisiana laws regarding underage alcohol sales. A confidential informant (CI) under the age of 21 attempted to purchase alcoholic beverages at selected establishments.

As a result of the operation, two businesses were found to be in violation of state law after selling alcohol to the underage CI. The following individuals were issued summonses for R.S. 14:93.11 – Unlawful Sales to Persons Under Twenty-One:

Jordan Wynn (DOB: 02/02/1999)
Walmart Fuel Station
4701 Northport Blvd.
Shreveport, LA 71107
Charlsye Moore (DOB: 08/30/1970)
Tobacco Country
11590 Hwy 80
Greenwood, LA 71033

The Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office conducts these compliance checks periodically to reduce underage drinking and to ensure businesses are following state laws designed to protect minors.

Sheriff Henry Whitehorn Sr. reminds business owners and employees that proper identification must be checked before completing any alcohol sale. “Preventing underage access to alcohol is a shared responsibility," said Sheriff Whitehorn. "These enforcement efforts are intended to promote accountability and protect the safety of our youth and community.”

Businesses are encouraged to provide regular training to employees regarding alcohol sales laws and proper ID verification procedures.
