As prom season approaches, many teens are looking forward to one of the most memorable nights of their high school experience. To help high school students make safe and responsible decisions, the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office is offering a Prom Preparedness Workshop for teens.

The interactive one-hour workshop will take place Saturday, April 11 from 2-3 p.m. at the CPSO Community Relations Office, located at 1501 Corporate Drive in Shreveport. During the session, deputies will lead discussions on topics that can impact students before and during prom night, including drug and alcohol awareness, as well as the dangers of sexting.
