CPSO to Host "College Bound Safety Program" for Graduating Students
The Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office Community Relations Division is proud to announce an upcoming College Bound Safety Program, designed to help students prepare for a safe and successful transition into college life.
This one-day program will provide practical safety awareness and personal preparedness training for young adults entering a new and often unfamiliar environment. Through interactive instruction and real-world guidance, participants will gain valuable tools to help them navigate campus life with confidence.
The program will cover the following topics:
College safety fundamentals
Situational awareness and risk recognition
College party safety and responsible decision-making
Defensive tactics familiarization
A guest speaker who will offer additional insight and guidance for students preparing for college
The goal of the College Bound Safety Program is to equip students with the knowledge and strategies needed to stay safe, make informed decisions, and build confidence as they begin this exciting new chapter.
The event will be held on April 25th at Caddo Parish Sheriff's Safety Town from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Students, parents, and guardians are encouraged to take advantage of this informative and engaging opportunity.
