Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office Arrests Man for Threats Made on Social Media
Caddo Parish Sheriff's detectives have arrested a Shreveport man following an investigation into a series of threatening statements made on social media.
On Wednesday, April 15, 2026, detectives were alerted to multiple Facebook Live videos in which an individual made explicit threats of violence toward three victims, including public officials. Investigators quickly launched an inquiry to assess the credibility and severity of the threats.
During the investigation, the suspect was identified as 42-year-old Jhadryan Green of the 3000 block of Terry Street. Detectives determined that Green made repeated and deliberate threats intended to instill fear and provoke violence. His statements included references to shooting and physically assaulting the victims, as well as traveling to a specific location to carry out acts of harm. Authorities also documented simulated violent gestures during the broadcasts, along with continued harassment, degrading language, and attempts to encourage others to participate in or support the threats.
Based on the evidence gathered, detectives established probable cause for an arrest. Green was taken into custody with the assistance of the U.S. Marshals Task Force and charged with the following offenses: terrorizing, hate crimes, cyberstalking, and two counts of intimidation of a public official. He was then transported to the Caddo Correctional Center, where he was booked on the aforementioned charges.
"The Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office will not tolerate threats of violence against our community or public officials," said Sheriff Henry Whitehorn Sr. "We take these matters seriously and will act swiftly to ensure the safety of those we serve."
The investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with additional information related to this case is encouraged to contact the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office at 318-675-2170.
