CPSO Invites Public and Media to Community Event Focused on Domestic Violence Prevention
The Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office (CPSO), under the leadership of Sheriff Henry Whitehorn Sr., invites members of the public, community leaders, and media representatives to attend an important community event focused on strengthening Caddo Parish’s response to domestic violence.
This event will introduce the Domestic Violence Data-Informed Community Engagement Initiative (DICE), an evidence-based approach rooted in research from Rutgers University. Utilizing the Simsi model, the initiative is designed to help communities coordinate resources more effectively, mobilize key partners, and deliver actionable insights that ensure the right agencies respond at the right time—while reducing strain on existing systems.
The day will begin with an Executive Leadership Kick-Off session (by invitation only) in the morning, followed by a Community Training Session open to the public and attending leadership.
