The Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office is offering local youth the opportunity to stay active and learn valuable safety skills through free summer camps at Sheriff’s Safety Town.

The first camp session will take place June 1-26 for children ages 5-12. A second session for teens ages 12-17 will be held July 6-31. Both camps will operate Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Sheriff’s Safety Town, located at 8910 Jewella Avenue in Shreveport.

Registration is free, but space is limited. Parents and guardians are encouraged to register early by calling (318) 681-0869.

Sheriff’s Safety Town continues to serve as a place where young people can learn, grow, and stay active while building positive relationships with deputies throughout the summer.
