Kids will have the opportunity to step into the role of crime scene investigators during Mystery Crime Scene Day on Thursday, May 28, 2026. The day camp will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Sheriff’s Safety Town, located at 8910 Jewella Avenue in Shreveport.

Throughout the day, kids will work together to help solve a mock crime scene while learning investigation techniques used in real-world law enforcement. Campers will also learn how to take fingerprints, photograph a crime scene, and examine clues as part of a hands-on educational experience.

Additional activities and games will also be included throughout the day. Children will need to bring a sack lunch. For registration information, contact Sheriff’s Safety Town at 318-698-7233.
