A check presentation ceremony was held today in the conference room of the Downtown Development Authority (DDA) office located at 416 Cotton Street, Shreveport, LA. The event celebrated a generous $51,000 donation from the DDA (Downtown Shreveport Development Corporation) and Shreveport Common to the Anglin/Meyers Initiative. This funding will be used to install cameras in strategic locations throughout downtown Shreveport.

Many parish officials attended the event, along with Clay Young, chairman of the Louisiana Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice Foundation, and family members of Landry Aglin and Devin Meyers, who accepted the check on behalf of the Initiative.

Attendees expressed their appreciation to the Downtown Development Authority, Downtown Shreveport Development Corporation, and Shreveport Common for this important contribution.
