On Sunday, May 31, 2026, at approximately 1:53 a.m., deputies with the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office responded to a major motor vehicle crash on Interstate 3132 near Walker Road. 

During the investigation, deputies learned that one of the occupants of a vehicle had left the crash scene and was seen walking along Walker Road. Deputy C. Davidson located this individual and identified him as Antonio Walker, 20. 

During a conversation with Walker, Deputy Davidson discovered that Walker was carrying a firearm and a backpack containing approximately 197 grams of suspected marijuana. Further investigation revealed that Walker had taken the backpack from the crash scene before leaving. As a result, Walker was arrested for the following charges: possession of a Schedule I Controlled Dangerous Substance with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm in the presence of a controlled dangerous substance, and an outstanding felony warrant from the Bossier City Police Department for battery of a dating partner with child endangerment.

Walker was transported to the Caddo Correctional Center, where he was booked on the aforementioned charges. 

The crash remains under investigation.
