Wanted Suspect Apprehended Through Interagency Cooperation
A wanted suspect was taken into custody early Thursday morning following a coordinated effort between the Bossier Parish Sheriff's Office and the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office, according to Sheriff Henry Whitehorn Sr.
On June 10, 2026, the Bossier Parish Sheriff's Office requested assistance from the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office in locating Sean Mastin, 41, who was wanted on multiple charges, including felony stalking, felony telephone harassment, four counts of violating a protective order, and one count of peeping tom.
Following several hours of investigation, deputies utilized various law enforcement resources, including License Plate Reader (LPR) technology, to develop information regarding Mastin's whereabouts.
In the early morning hours of June 11, Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office K-9 Deputy Jacob Vaitkus and K-9 Pinkley located Mastin at a local bar in Shreveport and safely took him into custody on the outstanding warrant issued by the Bossier Parish Sheriff's Office.
Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office Sgt. Matthew Frizzell subsequently transported Mastin to the Caddo Correctional Center, where he was booked on the aforementioned charges.
"This arrest highlights the value of strong partnerships among local law enforcement agencies and the effective use of investigative technology," said Sheriff Henry Whitehorn Sr. "Working together allows us to locate quickly wanted individuals and enhance the safety of our communities."
The Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office appreciates the continued cooperation between area law enforcement agencies and remains committed to protecting the citizens of Caddo Parish.
