The Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office invites families to attend its Back-to-School Safety Kick-Off & Health Fair on Thursday, August 6, 2026, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Sheriff’s Safety Town. The free community event is designed to help students and parents prepare for a successful school year.

Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about important topics that will help keep students safe and healthy throughout the school year, including general safety reminders, health and wellness information, car seat and seat belt safety, emergency preparedness, and school bus safety, along with many other valuable resources.

The Back-to-School Safety Kick-Off & Health Fair is free and open to the public. Families are encouraged to stop by, ask questions, and take advantage of the educational resources available as they get ready for the upcoming school year.
