Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office Announces Additional Charges in Nottingham Drive Burglary Investigation
The Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office has filed additional charges against two suspects as detectives continue to investigate the burglary of a residence in the 9000 block of Nottingham Drive and the death of the homeowner, according to Sheriff Henry Whitehorn Sr.
On August 10, 2026, Detective Purgerson received new evidence and information indicating that Jeremy Young, 40, and Carly Ann Henderson, 30, were involved in the burglary of the victim's home on August 4, 2026. During the investigation, detectives also uncovered evidence showing that Young and Henderson used the deceased victim's debit card at several retail businesses in South Shreveport.
As a result of the newly gathered evidence, both Young and Henderson were charged with one count of burglary and five counts of access device fraud.
The investigation began on August 4 when Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a residence in the 9000 block of Nottingham Drive to perform a welfare check. Deputies found the resident deceased inside the home and later determined that the residence had been burglarized and the victim's Jeep had been stolen.
The stolen Jeep was located in the early morning hours of August 5 at Elsie's Truck Stop on Louisiana Highway 1. Young was arrested after deputies conducted a traffic stop and was initially charged with theft of a motor vehicle.
Later that day, Henderson was found during the investigation after deputies responded to a report of a female trespassing at the victim's Nottingham Drive residence. She initially provided investigators with a false identity, leading to charges of criminal trespassing and possession of fraudulent documents for identification purposes.
As the investigation progressed, detectives gathered evidence suggesting that Henderson had unlawfully entered the victim's residence. Deputies located a vehicle that Henderson had been driving and recovered property belonging to the deceased victim from inside. Consequently, she was charged with burglary in connection with that incident.
The investigation into the victim's death is ongoing, and further charges may be forthcoming as detectives continue to collect evidence.
