A deputy from the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office was arrested following an investigation into contraband found in the Caddo Correctional Center, according to Sheriff Henry Whitehorn Sr.   

On August 24, 2026, personnel from the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office conducted a search of a cell at the Caddo Correctional Center (CCC) and discovered a cell phone. Further investigation revealed that the phone was linked to Deputy Marqueshia Green, 35.

CPSO detective Jackson carried out a follow-up investigation, which ultimately led to Green's arrest. She was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center on charges of introducing contraband into a penal institution and malfeasance in office.

The investigation is ongoing.
