Free Lunch and Learn Workshop Focuses on Sexual Assault Warning Signs

The Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office invites parents, guardians, educators, and community members to attend R.E.D. F.L.A.G.S. 101, a free program designed to help adults recognize the warning signs of child sexual assault and take proactive steps to protect children.

The lunch and learn workshop will be held on Sunday, September 27 at Sheriff’s Safety Town, located at 8910 Jewella Ave., Shreveport, LA 71118.

R.E.D. F.L.A.G.S. is a guide to identifying behaviors that may signal abuse:

● Recognize changes in behavior

● Engage in open conversation

● Document unusual events or comments

● Fear of certain people

● Lack of boundaries

● Avoidance of physical contact

● Gifts or secrets from adults

● Sexualized behavior or knowledge beyond age
