Caddo Parish Sheriff Henry Whitehorn Sr. issued the following statement regarding the ongoing search for Tre'veon Jackson:

Good Morning,

I would like to provide an update regarding the ongoing search for Tre'veon Jackson.

As of now, Jackson remains at large, and we do not have a confirmed location. Our deputies, investigators, and law enforcement partners are actively searching for Jackson. We are following up on every lead, whether big or small. We are evaluating every piece of information and will continue to use available resources to locate him and safely return him to custody.

We ask our citizens to remain vigilant and aware of their surroundings. If you see something that seems suspicious or out of the ordinary, please do not dismiss it. Contact law enforcement so that we can determine whether that information is connected to this investigation.

Most importantly, if you believe you see Tre'veon Jackson, do not approach him or attempt to apprehend him yourself. Call 911 immediately and provide the dispatcher with as much information as possible, including his location, description, direction of travel, and whether he is on foot or in a vehicle.

You can also contact the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office at 318-675-2170 or Caddo/Shreveport Crime Stoppers at 318-673-7373.

I would like to speak directly to Tre'veon Jackson.

Tre'veon, if you are watching, we will not stop searching for you. Law enforcement officers are actively working to locate you, and this effort will continue until you are back in custody.

You have an opportunity right now to bring this situation to a peaceful conclusion. Contact the nearest law enforcement agency, call 911, or arrange to surrender. Please do not take any actions that could put yourself, members of the public, or law enforcement officers in danger.

Continuing to run offers no benefit. Every additional hour you remain at large increases community concern and the risk of an unwanted encounter.

Our goal is simple: we want to take you back into custody safely and peacefully.

If you are assisting or communicating with Jackson, please encourage him to surrender. Do not put yourself in the middle of this situation or interfere with law enforcement. The best thing you can do for Jackson, for yourself, and for this community is to encourage him to turn himself in peacefully and provide law enforcement with information that can help us bring this situation to a safe conclusion.

We appreciate the public's assistance and patience, as well as the continued cooperation of our law enforcement partners.

Once again, Tre'veon Jackson remains at large. Citizens should remain vigilant and should not approach him. Please report any possible sightings or suspicious activity immediately.

For emergencies or immediate sightings, call 911. For other information, contact the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office at 318-675-2170 or Caddo/Shreveport Crime Stoppers at 318-673-7373.

We will continue this search until Tre'veon Jackson is safely back in custody.
