Caddo Sheriff's Community Outreach Program to make first stop on Saturday
Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator announced today a new Community Outreach Program aimed at bringing his deputies closer to the citizens they serve.
Prator said deputies will take the department's mobile command center to Gilliam Town Hall from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. this Saturday, March 29. A community liaison deputy, criminal detective, and deputy with the Community Programs Section will be available to meet personally with citizens to answer questions, discuss concerns, receive information, or provide details of free services and programs offered by the Caddo Sheriff's Office.
Prator said Gilliam is the first of several planned stops in rural Caddo Parish in upcoming weeks.
"We've planned a come-and-go setting that we hope will fit everyone's schedule," Prator said. "If you have questions about your neighborhood or your Sheriff's Office, we encourage you to stop by and visit."
